Our team is trained to stay vigilant and recognize signs that a member of the community—particularly women, youth, or the elderly—may be at risk. In the event of a safeguarding concern:
• Immediate Response: We will take necessary steps to ensure the individual’s immediate safety.
• Referral: We work in alignment with local authorities. Any serious concerns or disclosures of harm will be formally referred to the relevant emergency services or local safeguarding boards (e.g., Croydon Council).
• Documentation: All incidents are recorded internally in a factual, confidential manner to ensure a clear audit trail of our community support.Confidentiality and Data Protection
In accordance with our Privacy Policy, all information regarding safeguarding incidents is handled with the strictest confidentiality. Personal data is only shared with external agencies (such as the Metropolitan Police or Social Services) when it is a legal requirement or essential to protect a person’s life and wellbeing.Safe Recruitment and Training
To ensure the highest standard of protection for the public, Southgate Protection CIC maintains a rigorous vetting process. All personnel must:
• Undergo a comprehensive Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
